The Jet Fan of “MJ AIR TECH” is a new technology turbo axial fan that sprays a laminar flowed and stratified high speed air into a nozzle and transports it in the same direction as a large amount of ambient air is induced to jet flow reaching a long distance. When jet fans are installed in optimized locations according to the structure and purpose of the space, the air supply, the air exhaust, the cooling and the ventilation efficiency are improved, the pollution concentration is reduced, and a soft air flow is created in the whole space, reducing the skin temperature.

In 1996, a young and enterprising Korean Electrical Engineer visited an international HVAC exhibition in Japan with his friends.

At the Show, he was very fascinated by what he saw of small jet fans being exhibited at some of the booths. This is because the low noise wind from a small fan with a beautiful appearance has reached too far. He was very curious about the designs of the jet fans and how they work. He was keen to make what he saw better and more affordable. It dawned on him that he should pursue his thoughts more determinedly. Eventually, a jet fan who fascinated him was sitting next to his seat in a plane returning to Korea.

After returning to Korea and within a short 2-year span of dedicated research and development, he developed his own brand of jet fans. He produced and launched the first models of "Made in Korea" jet fans designed, re-engineered and manufactured in Korea in 1998.

He is Mr. Lim Yun Cheol, the founder of MJ Air Tech Company Limited, Korea.

Thereafter Mr. Lim launched his prized products, many look-alikes and similar-looking brands sprouted in Korea thereafter trying to emulate his works.

However, during a long study of very elaborate and complex details, jet fan technology and manufacturing process, every part of his detailed and creative work cannot be reproduced, only imitating the appearance of his jet fan, and turbo-machinery’s technology cannot be understood by those who have imitated it. His jet fan guarantees key performance such as differentiated air flow throw, noise level and air inducing effect.

MJ Air Tech Company Limited is recognized as the best jet fan brand in Korea. It has so far developed seven jet fans ranging in diameter from 150mm to 800mm and derivatives and also developed a “large-space airflow pattern control system” that optimizes airflow in space by four kinds of turnover, rotation, mixing and transport airflow. The innovation, technology and development of the mechanical ventilation system have earned many honors, awards and recognition from the Korean government and other agencies, including the "Golden Prize for the 1999 Precision Technology Promotion Competition."

MJ stands for "Myoung Jin(明進)"; the meaning in the Korean Language to be "Ever improving, ever growing....".
